I am starting an interview research project with noise artists. I am fascinated to learn more about noise artists’ ideas and feelings about noise/music, and so my questions are a mix of conceptual, philosophical, and practical. I am sure these interviews will also be very interesting to other noise fans around the world. I hope this project will increase our shared knowledge and understanding of each other in this unique and diverse global community of ‘noisedom’.
I will post direct links to all the interviews on this dedicated page. My initial focus is to interview as many Japanese noise artists as I can, so it will take time both to conduct these interviews and then to get them translated into English.
